Responsibilities
General responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Accurate and timely generation and assembly of monthly financial statements
Preparation of financial statements will include without limitation, typical accounting responsibilities, such as journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, review budgeted & forecasted numbers and explain variances.
Must have experience doing complicated bank reconciliations as this is an important part of the position.
Help with the preparation of fiscal year end audit package, working in conjunction with the controller to ensure a smooth audit process
Provide financial information and education to internal and external clients as needed in order to ensure effective and efficient cross-functional communication and work flow.
This is not a management position person will report directly to controller.
Qualifications
We are seeking for candidates to join our team that meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
2-3 years accounting experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is between 40k and 45k
Paid time off

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
