The Sales Representative role requires a highly personable, intelligent individual with the ability to lead digitally focused sales efforts while maintaining an energetic, strategic and entrepreneurial spirit.
As a USA TODAY NETWORK Sales Representative, you'll partner with clients to provide a broad set of solutions to include:
Maintain existing accounts, build customer relationships, and sustain excellent customer service.
Professional, effectively and accurately represent our products over the phone, facilitating brand strength and credibility.
Support Sales team and overall department in meeting annual revenue goals.
Develop a network of contacts to identify client needs and deliver effective options/solutions in securing sales opportunities.
Effectively prioritize tasks and accomplish responsibilities to product quality results in a deadline driven environment.
Keep records of sales activities in Salesforce.com

As a Marketing Solutions Sales Representative, you will:
Be equipped with the region's best marketing services and solutions, empowering you to deliver unparalleled results to your customers
Develop partnerships with large local businesses and assist them in reaching their goals through integrated marketing plans and comprehensive media solutions
Identify customer needs to develop and execute account plans and custom client solutions that differentiate USA TODAY NETWORK from competitors
Help businesses maximize their online presence with a custom approach to digital marketing
Leverage multiple USA TODAY NETWORK resources and partners to develop optimal client solutions across our suite of products, with an emphasis on digital
What you need to do to be successful in this role:
Sales ability with a passion for the selling of print and digital products.
Background in advertising preferred; not required.
Desire to learn and understand both the print and online advertising industry
Outstanding customer/client focus.
Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
Problem solving skills.

What you bring to the table:
2 years' experience in a high acquisition, consultative, B2B sales role
Aptitude or acumen for Digital Marketing
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience

Problem solver who thrives on challenges and can simplify the complex
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to continuously learn, try new things and adapt to change
Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
